Whats the difference between Wildfire's Virtual PBX/Receptionist and the Wildfire Virtual Assistant?

The Virtual PBX/Receptionist is just a front-end greeter to the outside world and a call router to you. She does not take messages and is best suited if there are multiple users, as opposed to the Virtual Assistant, which is a comprehensive voice service with all of the Wildfire features.

Do I need to order the Virtual Receptionist/PBX if I have the Virtual Assistant?

No, in fact most people only need the Virtual Assistant.

How long does it take to activate my account?

After you complete the online sign-up form, it usually takes three business days.

Do I get charged usage?

With the Virtual Assistant, you are billed $0.10 per minute.

Do I get charged for long distance?

No, all domestic long distance is included in your monthly rate.

Can I order just the Virtual PBX and not the Wildfire Virtual Assistant?

Yes. The activation fee applies to the Virtual PBX, as well as each person you list as an extension.

I have three employees and want one central number to route calls, how would Wildfire be set up?

Under this scenario, you would have one Virtual PBX and three Virtual Assistants.

How can I port my telephone number?

At the bottom of our user manuals page there are two forms which will provide the information you will need.  Note that there will be a one-time fee of $50.00 for each number ported.

Is the Wildfire service VOIP?

No, it uses traditional telephone lines.

Can I automatically load my contacts from MS Outlook into Wildfire?

No, this feature is currently not available.

How long has Wildfire been in business?

Since 1993.
